Oh Vinegar How I Love Thee, Let Me Count The Ways....

I love when a product does more than just one thing, especially when the other things are completely not what it was originally intended for.

Like the vodka lavender tincture or monsters made from discarded clothes, which is probably why I think white vinegar is so great.

White vinegar can be used for cooking, cleaning and disinfecting. It can do almost anything, or 1,001 things according to vinegartips.com.

Some of the uses are:

• In the bathroom wipe sinks, tubs, shower curtains & shower doors to remove mildew & soap scum.
• Use in the toilet to get rid of rings.
• Add ½ cup to the rinse cycle to soften clothes.
• Or pour a small amount onto a rag and add to the dryer (thanks Karina).
• Rub on hands to get rid of an onions smell.
• Use as an antiseptic for cuts & scrapes.
• Soothe a sunburn by spraying it as often as needed (even better if the vinegar's cold).
• Add a little to your pet’s water dish to kill fleas.

You can get white vinegar for as little as $1, so not only is it environmentally friendly (totally non-toxic) it’s also wallet friendly.

It’s an easy way to go green without spending much green and really, what’s greener then that?
