I Love Farmers Markets And I'll Miss The Ones In Chico

We move on Wednesday so today was my last Chico farmer’s market visit. *sniff*

I know that Placerville has markets as well, but still, I’m going to miss the ones here.

I've met some great people and learned some really interesting things about food.

I'm really glad I made that first trip to the market even though it seemed kind of inconvenient at the time. I love that I can get almost all of our groceries bought there and I always feel like I've done something really good for my family when I leave.

I think shopping at farmers markets is one of the best things you can do for your family and one of the easiest changes to make towards being more green.

I'm sure I'll love the markets in Placerville just as much, but for now, here are some of my favorite market moments from the ones in Chico:

Making new friends.

Trying new foods. And yes, Tyler actually liked them.

Learning new things. Like, conventional eggs need to be refrigerated because they'll explode if left because of the chemicals given to the chickens.

The best was doing it with my sis.
