It's Not Easy Being Green

It's not always easy being green.

Sometimes it would be so much easier to just shop at the local grocery store instead of planning out what I'll need so I make sure to pick it up at the farmers market or the co-op in Chico when I'm there.

But then I remember the benefits of shopping this new way. Fruits and veggies that I know where they came from and how they were grown (chem free!), meat that is lower in saturated fat and high in Omega-3's, and chicken eggs that are so fresh you don't need to refrigerate them.

So it may not always easy being green, but it is worth it.
