A Lovely Face Mask

For this lovely Sunday I thought a little pampering may be in order. So today’s Easy Eco Idea is how to get a great facial with something you probably already have in your house, organic sour cream.

You heard right, sour cream or full fat sour cream to be precise. Sour cream makes a great moisturizing, exfoliating mask. The lactic acids gently exfoliate while the natural fats in it moisturize your skin.

All you need to do is scoop out 1-2 tablespoons and then gently spread over your face. You only need a thin layer so adjust the amount you scoop out accordingly. Let it sit on your face for 7-10 minutes, remove with a wet washcloth, splash face with warm water and pat dry.

So easy, so inexpensive and it feels so good!
