A Month Of Green
I thought I’d let you know what I was thinking about doing for this month. Every day this month I’m going to do a post about one easy thing you can do to live a little greener and maybe a little healthier. Some of these may be long others will probably be short, but there will be something every day.
I’m also going to do posts on local businesses that are green; i.e. they’re products or are green certified. Plus I’m going to be doing 1 or 2 more product reviews. Yay for free stuff!
So for today’s Easy Eco Idea I’m going with the good old farmers market. They’re all over the place right now so finding one to go to is super easy. Most markets go through September or October and if you’re lucky you may even find one that’s held year round.
Some places have more than one a week. This way you can pick what day works best for you.
In Chico they have them on Saturday, Wednesday and Thursday. Here in Placerville they have them on Saturday and Wednesday.
You can go online to localharvest.org, go to your chamber of commerce or just google farmers market and the town you want to search.
This is probably my favorite way to make an easy green change, in case you hadn’t noticed from all my market posts!
Birthday, Love Chico and Egg Man
