Reusable Bags Are Only Good If You Remember To Take Them With You
By now you're all, hopefully, using reusable bags when you go shopping. But if you're like me, while you have lots of reusable bags you don't always remember your reusable bags.
So today's Easy Eco Idea is making sure your bags make it into the store with you.
The first part of that is getting the bags to the car. I don’t know why it’s so hard to just take them out to the car after unpacking them but it is, so here are some other suggestions.
Do you have a coat rack? Well you could hang your bags from one of the hooks so you see them on your way out. You could put them in the closet where your shoes are or place them next to your purse as well.
So now that they’ve made it to the car all you have to do is remember to take them into the store. To help with this I would suggest not putting them in your truck. You know that saying “Out of sight, out of mind”? It goes double with bags.
If you have kids the best place for the bags is on the floor or seat of the back seat. Seeing as you’re pretty unlikely to forget to take the kids out, it dramatically increases the chances you’ll remember the bags as well.
If you don’t have kids or are enjoying a rare kids-free shopping day, the front seat is a great place for your bags.
These tricks have helped me to remember my bags at least 95% of the time.
Hey, nobody’s perfect.
Oh, and don’t forget to wash your bags!

I keep the bags in the car & used them today @Macys,Home Depot & AC Moore!
Awesome! Such a big deal is made about taking reusable bags to grocery stores but no one very talks about how it's just as important to take them to retail stores. Maybe even more so because I don't think the bags retail stores use can be recycled. So extra points for you!
