Save A Tree, Use Less Paper
Today’s Easy Eco Idea is save a tree, or better yet, lots and lots of trees by simply just using less paper. And when you do buy paper products like printer paper, toilet paper and paper towels choose ones made from recycled paper.
When you get gas or go to an ATM, skip the receipt. I mean, how often do you do anything with them other then throw them in the recycling can when you get home anyways?
Instead of writing out your shopping list on a note pad use the notes feature in your phone. I love this one because while I have forgotten my list many times I have never forgotten my phone, so now that it’s in my phone, I’m golden.
Stop printing documents that you can just as easily save to your desktop and read there. If you do have to print something out make the margins and the font as small as possible, if it’s going to be more than one page print on both sides. Some printers even have an option that lets you choose to print on both sides. I will be honest, this is one of the ones I’ve had the most difficulty with, but I’m trying!
