A link was posted on the Facebook fan page to a site/movie called The Story of Stuff while I was sick and I only just now had a chance to look at it. Trying to look at it sooner, while sick would have caused dizziness and falling out of my chair.

The Story of Stuff is a 20 minute video about the true cost of the products we consume and is really quite fascinating.

We all go to the store looking for the best deal but if you think about it, how can they really offer products for such little money?

We’ve all heard the saying “You get what you pay for” and yet we always choose the least expensive option. And we do this knowing good and well that the product probably won’t last very long and will just end up needing to be replaced.
