The other (free) product that I got from New Wave Enviro was a shower head filter.

I was super excited to get this one because the city we live in now chlorinates their water. And that's not something I know because someone told me, I know they do because I can smell it every time I turn the water on.

I have a faucet filter to filter that out so we don't have to drink it, why in the world would I want to shower in it?

Before it came I was worried it would be a whole separate contraption that I would have to install. As in, a new shower head that would be a pain to put in. But no, it's just the filter cartridge and can be easily installed to any shower head! Ok, easily by Todd, but it did look easy!

But what was most exciting was that the box says that the filter will last for a whole year! It sells for around $45, that's a crazy good deal if you ask me!

When you need to replace it you don't have to buy the whole system again, just the filter, which is great.

The other great thing is that you can call the number on the box to set up a reminder for when you'll need to replace it so you don't forget.

So now when I take my shower there's no chlorine smell and I swear my skin is less dry because I'm not bathing in chlorine anymore. Now all I have to do is get one for the kids bathroom and I'm set!
