I Heart Jeans, Especially When They're Green

I got some cash for Christmas from my Gramma and Todd's Grandpa and I knew just what I was going to buy with the money, jeans. I need jeans so bad it's not even funny. As in I have 1 pair that fit well, that's just not right.

So I figured that on the way home from the inlaws we could just stop at the outlet mall in Folsom (I chose not to mention this to the boys seeing as they wouldn't be nearly as excited about clothes shopping as I was). I figured being that it's the day after Christmas and that it's outlet stores I could get some seriously good deals.

And then I thought, wasn't I trying to avoid buying new not so eco friendly stuff? While that's not always possible to do, this seemed like one of the times it would be.

So instead of stopping on the way home I waited until we got home, got online and headed over to ebay.

So not only can I get my reuse on, I can also get more pairs of jeans than I would have been able to even with the sales going on. Sweet!

I need new jeans to. Maybe I'll stop by one of the thrift stores here. I need to try them on before I buy, so ebay isn't good for me. All of my jeans are getting holes in them, and not always in easy to mend places. I'm thinking of making some hippy style jean skirts out of some of them. I'm also debating on using some for yarn or quilting.

I try to stick with brands I've bought or at least tried on ahead of time. Using the jeans for yarn sounds so cool!
