The Monster Bash Continues! {Giveaway}

A little while back I found a contest on Twitter for a reusable canvas bag from Green Eyed Monster. The bags are made from 100% post-consumer recycled cotton and recycled plastic water bottles and are made in New Hampshire.

Made in the US and 100% recycled fabric, oh yeah, you know I entered that one!

Well seeing as I'm writing this you may have guessed that I won, good guess. The bag that I won was the Ponder Monster bag. It's cute, eco-friendly and HUGE! Green Eyed Monster bags are 20” wide x 15” tall x 6” deep with 25” handles.

I like taking mine to the farmers market because it's great for carrying all my leafy greens (kale, spinach, lettuce, etc.). Those leafy greens, while not heavy, just take up a ton of space. If I use one of my other bags, 2 bunches of greens just fill them up so I'm stuck carrying more bags then I really need to. With my Ponder Monster bag I can fit them all in the one bag, which for me is just much easier.

What I love about Green Eyed Monster is that I feel they're really walking the green walk. Not only are their bags made from recycled materials instead of new, they ship in reused boxes (big monster orders) and recycled envelopes (little monster orders) and the tags that come on the bag are made from recycled paper attached to the bag with a paper clip t(hat you can reuse!). I just love a company that's really trying to make a difference!

They're also members of 1% For The Planet which means they donate 1% of their sales to a network of more than 1,500 environmental organizations worldwide. Cool.

I also love them become they're in New England which is where I grew up, but I suppose that doesn't really have anything to do with anything. ;)
