Celebrate Earth Day With Reusable Bags {Giveaway}

I don’t know if you know this but I really love reusable bags. hehe

So I thought what with Earth Day being just around the corner, I’d do another reusable bags giveaway.

These bags are from a company called Esse and are made from recycled plastic water bottles. Love! And they don’t just sell single bags, they also have a CarryAll Tote that comes with 3 grocery bags, 2 produce bags and 1 everyday bag, it’s great for getting you started.

The basic bags aren’t made in the USA but they are put together here. Esee works with an organization called Rebuild Resources. Rebuild Resources employs people who are trying to put their lives back together after years of addiction and abuse. I think that’s pretty cool.

I got to try out the CarryAll Tote with all those extra bags and I have to say it was pretty cool. I liked how all the bags fit so neatly inside the tote bag and I really liked that I was able to fold them all back up again and get them back in the tote bag.

The handle on the tote was great for hanging it on the doorknob so I didn’t forget to take it with me when I went out. Also, it made it easy to grab out of the car, carry into the store, plop in the basket and easily grab it out when I was ready to use the bags.

I also love that you can send Esse your old cheap reusable bags and they will send them to Rebuild Resources for their recycled rag rug program. Think you need those plastic bags for around the house? Well Esse has some ideas for what you can use instead.

You can also find Esse Bags on Twitter and Facebook. Esse is doing a giveaway on their Facebook page as well; for every 100 fans they're giving a tote away.

Also, for every CarryAll Tote purchased by May 15th (Mother's Day) you can also get an additional QuickPak! The QuickPak includes an Everyday bag, 2 produce bags and a carrying pouch. All you have to do is enter 'easyecotogo' in the company section when filling out your address. Sweet!

Ok, so onto to the giveaway. Esse is giving one Easy Eco To Go reader a CarryAll Tote in the pattern of your choice! For the main entry go to Esse and leave a comment here saying which pattern is your favorite. This one must be done for any others to count!

As always there are additional ways you can enter:

  • Follow @easyecotogo on Twitter and leave your @name (1 entry)
  • Follow @esse_bags on Twitter and leave your @name (1 entry)
  • Write a blog about the contest or email 3 friends & cc me on the email easyecotogo at gmail.com (3 entries, please leave 3 comments)

Separate comments must be left here for each additional entry!

Also, please include your email with comments or if you’d rather, after you leave your main entry comment, email me at easyecotogo(at)gmail(dot)com so I will have a way of contacting you if you win. You will have 48 hours after I contact you to send me your info or else I will choose another winner.

The contest will run from Monday April 12th, 2010 thru Monday April 19th, 2010 at 11:59 pm PST.

And as always the boys will help me pick a winner, which will be announced Tuesday the 20th.

I would enjoy the yellow flower pattern. I would love this set. I don't have any produce bags yet and am eager to get some!
