Diggin' For Gold - Wordless Wednseday

We live in Gold Country and Tyler has just been fascinated with the idea of finding gold.

He likes the idea of gold panning and wouldn't mind trying it, but he really thinks his best bet is the hill next to the the creek on my grandparents property. And well, Dylan's down for whatever Tyler wants to do.

Me, I'm just glad they're outside and not fighting.

They are very industrious little diggers. Gold is pretty heavy and more likely to be down in crevices. If you live in gold country chances are he'll discover a bit of color some day.

Who knows they may really find some golds. And it may well be a healthy way for them to expense some of their energy. :)

good to see they are outside playing, but I'll warn you -- i did a lot of digging as a kid and i used to bury everything in the woods behind my parents' house. keep a close eye on your spoons :)
