Foxy! - Wordless Wednesday

So now along with the deer and coyote, we also have a fox in our neighborhood.

I've never actually seen a fox close up before, or a coyote for that matter.

I love living up here!

We have a fox too! And we live in metro nashville! Have you heard your fox? They make the craziest noises at night.

I live in the middle of suburbia and was surprised to see a fox, a big red fox, running down the middle of my street the other day, at about 3 a.m.
now what I was doing out there at 3 a.m. is another question...

Foxes are beautiful creatures. You are lucky to have it visit, as long as the chickens are locked up.

It truly amazing what you are seeing there. And quite interesting that it actually allowed you to come so close to it.

Love your fox pictures! We have lots of critters here in the north Georgia mountains, bears crossing the road, coyotes howling at night, we just all try to be good neighbors. Have a great day!

We get foxes and coyotes but I've never seen deer in our neighborhood. Perched on the fencepost reminds me of a story of a late relative. One night she saw a fox go into the chicken coop and sent her husband after it. HE returned say that he didn't see any fox. So she went back out with him and it was perched on the roost with the chickens hiding.

Beautiful... I could never live in a place (ie NY) where there wasn't wildlife.

Aww, so cute!! We had a fox on our front porch a while back, but he didn't look too healthy. Poor little guy.

I love having wildlife around. Have missed it out here in the suburbs.
