Thank You On This Not So Wordless Wednesday

Thanks so much for all the kind words about how you come here for me and not necessarily the green!

When I started this blog my plan was to have a place where you could get all the latest green info in an easy, non-judgmental format. I really had never planned on writing much about my family or me.

I honestly didn’t even really know how a blog worked and had never even read one before I started. I had no idea that people really do want to know about someone else’s life and that you can make some great friends by reading and commenting about their life!

I’m kind of a people pleaser, which is really pretty awkward to admit, and so the thought of opening up about my life when that wasn’t really my original intent (even though it’s been something I’ve wanted to do more of) worried me. But at the same time I love writing on here and actually feel that I can be freer than I can in my actual life. Maybe it’s because you’ve only known me from this point so there isn’t any explaining I feel like I need to do. Things like why I’ve made these food changes, why I want to be green, why I absolutely can’t stand bottled water, that’s how you met me so it’s just what you expect.

I’m not perfect and I’m not always perfectly green, sometimes I’m just barely green, but I think that’s probably how most of us are. I am glad that I no longer feel like I have to only write “here’s how to do this the green way”.

Thanks so much for your support and letting me indulge my silly worries. You may just see more posts from me now that I’m not limiting myself, but of course since I’ve said that I just jinxed myself. ;)
